If you are unsure as to whether seeing an Independent Financial Advisor would be worthwhile for you, then please contact us so that we can talk you through your options and hopefully arrange an initial meeting at our expense.

How will you assess my financial needs?2021-08-18T13:50:48+00:00

Following your initial meeting, if you decide to instruct us, we will carry out a thorough financial assessment in order to build a true picture of your situation.  We use this information to create an accurate analysis of your wants and needs.

How will I receive the advice?2021-06-25T14:47:10+00:00

We offer in house meetings as well as the option for virtual meetings via Skype or Zoom and the occasional home visits for those with mobility difficulties.

We keep up to date with our clients both digitally and in writing as well as regular phone calls. We aim to make our clients feel welcome to contact us at anytime and invest in the creation and nurture of a long term relationship.

How much are your fees?2020-07-08T15:16:14+00:00

We have been a fee charging independent advice firm since we began trading in 1990.

We charge our fees directly to the client and are not swayed by commissions. Any obligatory commissions (for example mortgage procuration fees) will be rebated against your bill.

We offer a range of services at a range of prices, they are variable case by case. Therefore we take the opportunity of an initial meeting at our expense to calculate costs and provide you with a quote for the work to be completed.

How do I know I can trust your advice?2021-06-25T14:48:29+00:00

We are fully independent financial advisors therefore our motivation is only ever to do what is best for our clients. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and subscribe to various standards agencies and bodies.

How are my investments protected? Are they safe? 2020-07-08T15:25:44+00:00

There are both statutory and structural protections for your wealth including the financial Services compensation Scheme. We also perform rigorous due diligence on all of the insurers and providers that we use. And we subscribe to industry wide procedures to continue to aid the prevention of financial crime.

Can fees be deducted from my plans and investments?2020-07-08T15:19:59+00:00

We provide a number of charging options, one of our most popular is the option to deduct fees from the value of your investments or plan. This would be discussed and disclosed in full before any charges are applied.

Are all investments high risk? 2020-07-08T15:25:06+00:00

Investments vary considerably in the level of risk they carry. If you are looking to invest, our job as advisers is to find a balanced risk level you are comfortable with and have the capacity for.

Our investment portfolios are highly diversified which decreases risk, and we utilise evidence based investing. See ‘Personal – Investments’ page for more information.
